Peter Mac’s payroll function is challenged by the volume of manual time sheet requirements that reflects a complex, resource intensive and lengthy payroll process (including many variations in complex Award structures). The requirement to process data within a tight time-frame to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time creates substantial stress to the function, with the payroll team focussed on repetitive manual data-entry. The small size of Peter Mac’s Payroll Team exacerbates the challenges of managing this manual workload. This process is not sustainable in the longer-term, raises significant internal control risks and increases the operational risk each week, further amplified by COVID. Thus, Peter Mac is seeking for a implementation partner who is a preferred SAP/Success Factors vendor and has substantial experience in Victorian Public Health.
