Park and Gym Asset Purchasae

⁠⁠⁠Council is disposing of a range of gym and park equipment due to upgrades.
Council will consider all offers with no minimum offer value required.

Assets will be sold to the highest value offer. Where the highest offers are of similar value, Council will consider the intended purpose for the infrastructure and determine the outcome based on community benefit.

Asset purchase includes any dismantling/disassembling required, or pick up from specified location.

Shade structures and assembled playground equipment will require a risk assessment and safety controls whilst removal of items from public areas takes place. Council is to approve risk assessments and controls before removal takes place.

Re-erection of shade structures and/or playground equipment may be subject to development consent and approvals. It is the responsibility of interested parties to discuss these requirements with Council’s planning department.

Items are purchased in an ‘as is’ condition, bidders are encouraged to inspect items in current condition.

Inspection of gym items can be undertaken at the Narromine Sports and Fitness Centre on:

• Tuesday 23 June 2020 from 2-3pm or
• Tuesday 30 June from 12-1pm.

All other items are located in public areas and can be inspected at any time.

Payment is required within 30 days of notification of successful bid. Should payment not be received within 30 days, an offer will be made to the next in line bidder.

Submissions open on Wednesday 17 June 2020 and close at 17:00 on Wednesday 8 July 2020. Offers will be assessed and successful bidders notified by Friday 10 July 2020.

All items must be removed/collected by Sunday 9 August 2020, unless otherwise negotiated with Council.

Placing the completed form in a sealed envelope clearly marked with “Asset Sale EOI Offer Enclosed” and either:
Delivered by hand and placed in the quotation box at Council’s Customer Service and Payments Building, 118 Dandaloo St, Narromine, NSW OR
Mailed to the General Manager, Narromine Shire Council, PO Box 115, Narromine, NSW 2821
By the deadline indicated above.
