Tender Description
Euroa Sewer Rising Main Stage-1 Replacement includes replacement of approximately 600m of the existing 2.7km long Euroa sewer rising main. The existing main comprises of 250mm diameter asbestos cement (AC) pipe which is 57 years old. A new HDPE pipe shall be laid beside the old main which is to be left in a decommissioned state. Construction shall mainly involve open cut methodology for laying of the pipe. There are sections of pipe that shall be aligned underneath a creek and railway track. These works will be publically advertised for completion via AS 2124 - General Conditions of Contract.
All Goulburn Valley Contractors who tender for work with a total of $100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system e/g/ AS/NZS 4801:2001
