Murweh Shire Council invites tenders for the following project/service;

Morven Rail Hub - Building Construction Works for Tender
Tenders closing 2pm Tuesday 23 June 2020 with the undersigned are hereby invited for construction of the Office & Amenities building and Fodder Shed at the Morven Rail Hub.

The two projects are being tendered individually, however tenderers may elect to also submit a combined offer in addition to the two separate tenders.

The projects consist of construction of a single level Office & Amenities building of steel and timber framed construction approximately 120m2 gross floor area plus access ramp all on steel stumps; and a steel framed steel sheet open walled gravel floor Fodder Shed in excess of 6 metres height and approximately 490m2 gross floor area; both with associated sub-trade works including electrical and plumbing installation.

A hot-rolled steel section “kit shed” option is also available for tenders for the Fodder Shed.

Tenders will be awarded based on an analysis of weighted selection criteria. Notwithstanding such analysis, Council reserves the right to select the submission or submissions that in view of all the circumstances appear to be the most advantageous.

It is expected the contracts will be awarded late June. Contract periods will be ten (10) weeks for the Office & Amenities Building and six (6) weeks for the Fodder Shed unless otherwise agreed at tender stage. Offers shall state proposed contract period if different to the above, including for combined tender offers.
