Scope of Work:
Provide a service as an "on call" Rail Protection Officer at Rio Tinto Iron Ore's (RTIO) wide load crossing located within the township of Tom Price.
The supplier of this service will be required to:
- Provide this service to all wide load road vehicle users who "call up" during the hours of 6am to 6pm seven days per week
- Supply all required equipment, accommodation, meals, tooling and vehicles
- Supply and maintain all required communications equipment which meet and integrate with the RTIO network e.g radio and mobile phone
- Complete all required training courses and comply with RTIO Rail Safeworking rules and procedures
- Comply with all rail industry and main roads legislation, rules and procedures
