Solar Panel Maintenance

The City of Mandurah (City) is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced businesses or organisations for the conduct periodic inspections, maintenance cleaning of all of the City's installed solar PV systems, for a period of three years, with the option to extend for a further two years which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City.
In the first instance all existing systems outside of the defects liability period from the initial installation are to be inspected for condition and compliance against all relevant standards & guidelines. A report is to be prepared on the condition and compliance of each system and provide the details of any works required to bring the systems up to standard.
The annual maintenance and cleaning regime will commence once any issues identified within the Initial Inspection report have been resolved.

The schedule of works for the annual inspection is itemised in the scope however this may be varied upon recommendation, however, the general requirements will include, but not be limited to;
Cleaning of photovoltaic panels and other components subject to atmospheric contamination, with the frequency of cleaning being based on a defined loss of system performance or other agreed criteria;
Replacement of components that have failed or have been damaged and are not covered by the defects liability provisions;
Performance monitoring of each system against manufacturer's specifications;
Development of recommendations for supplementary and complementary maintenance procedures, including installation of protective devices or coatings to ensure or improve the longevity of system performance for each building.
