Regional Procurement is calling Panel tender REGPRO162021 Supply and Delivery of Road Resurfacing to participating Councils on an 'as required' basis for a period of 36 months from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2023 with provision for a 1 year extension option.
Participating Councils are: Armidale Regional: Armidale and Guyra branches, Walcha, Liverpool Plains Shire, Gunnedah Shire and Uralla Shire.
Councils may accept up to three (3) suppliers per Category.
Tenderers must comply with all the requirements of the specification and must satisfy Council's requested time frames. Tenderers are not required to complete all Price Schedules to submit a conforming offer and may submit pricing for only one or all participating councils.
The schedules include: Bitumen Spray Seal, Asphaltic Concrete and Mill and Re-sheet.
PUPROSE: The contractor will be required to carry out the following two (2) forms of service;
A) Full Service bitumen spray sealing works for reseals or asphaltic concrete and sealing of new works (primer seals and 2-coat seals), including seal design, supply and spray of bitumen, supply and spreading of pre-coated aggregate including provision of all ancillary services such as sweeping, rolling, loading, hauling and spreading of aggregate, and traffic control;
B) Partial Sealing, which can be defined as Full Service excluding supply of pre-coated aggregate but including the supply and spraying of hot bitumen (with additives) on the day of sealing at spray rates directed by the participating Council, with other activities and materials arranged;
Expenditure is estimated at over $2 million per annum.
