Northern Victoria Water Broker Panel

⁠⁠⁠South East Water (the Organisation) is one of Melbourne’s three state-owned metropolitan water retailers. We provide water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services for residents and businesses in Melbourne’s south east, located in the state of Victoria, Australia.

The purpose of this engagement is for South East Water to establish a panel of suitably qualified and accredited water brokers to assist South East Water to manage its allocation in the Northern water reserve from July 2020 until 30 June 2023.

Within the context of South East Water’s Statement of Obligations (System Management), issued by the Minister for Water under the Water Industry Act 1994 (Vic), brokers will assist South East Water to optimise operations in the Northern water reserve.

Brokers will be expected to promote the availability of South East Water’s allocation to the widest possible pool of interested parties, maintain the highest possible standards of ethical behaviour and provide best value-for-money to South East Water’s customers.
