Tender Description
TasTAFE trains students in automotive motor body work and associated spray painting. A functional spray booth is an essential part of providing a simulated work environment and provision of facilities to enable training and skill development to occur. Our existing spray booth on the Devonport campus is out of date and needs to be removed and replaced with a new booth sourced from a quality spray booth “kit” supplier.
The existing TasTAFE spray booth site requires significant demolition, removals, renovation, preparation and utilities work before an installation can occur. An appropriate new booth needs to be sourced and installed.
TasTAFE is seeking to appoint a lead contractor to undertake these preparatory construction works and also to source and install a new spray booth. The lead contractor would be responsible for purchasing the booth and negotiating with the booth supplier’s installation team to determine respective roles for the installation works to achieve a quality and value for money outcome.
