Online Assessment Development Panel

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority is leading an initiative, the Digital Assessment Library (DAL), to develop and deliver new formative assessments to be housed on the Authority’s online digital assessment platform. The DAL will assist teachers in assessing student progress by providing assessments comprised of validated, calibrated items aligned to the Victorian Curriculum F-10. The DAL will be made freely available to all schools in Victoria and will provide assessments across a number of key learning areas/capabilities, including English, Mathematics, Critical and Creative Thinking, Science, Health and Physical Education.

To support the implementation of the DAL, the Authority is establishing an Online Assessment Development Panel (‘the panel’) to develop online assessment content. The Authority is seeking to engage suitably qualified and capable suppliers to join this panel. Panel members will be engaged to undertake assessment content development.

In order to qualify for the panel, suppliers will need to demonstrate the capability and capacity to develop assessment content across a minimum of two of the learning areas outlined above (noting that one of these must be either Science or Health and Physical Education), according to Authority specifications.

The panel will play a key role in assisting the Authority to deliver this significant initiative.
