- THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF WHYALLA (the Council) invites quotes from Respondents for the Provision of a Hard Waste Collection Service, within the boundaries of the City of Whyalla (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.
- Council currently provides a hard waste collection service, available to all residential properties within the Whyalla Council boundary through a third party contractor. Residents are allowed 1 collection per year up to a 7 x 4 trailer load, with a list of allowable items. The contractor will be responsible for taking and managing the bookings and for suitable disposal, reuse or recovery of the items collected. The cost of disposal at the new Waste Transfer Station operated by Veolia will need to be factored into the tender price.
