McGregor Avenue, Healesville - Road Construction

1.1 The Yarra Ranges Shire Council, (‘the Principal’) invites tenders from suitably experienced parties for the following projects (‘the Works’):

• CT6087 McGregor Avenue, Healesville - Road Construction

1.2 Tenderers may bid for all or any project(s).

1.3 Council may award contracts to different parties or one (1) party depending on best value outcomes.

1.4 Tenderers are advised that the construction start date is as soon as possible following tender award and preferably no later than three (3) weeks following tender award and all projects will preferably reach Practical Completion in four (4) months following construction commencement.

1.5 Please refer to Principal amendments to AS 4000-1997 Clause 47 (in this tender document) – the Principal authorises the Contractor to, and the Contractor must, manage or control the Workplace to the extent necessary to discharge the duties imposed on a principal contractor under the OH&S Regs etc.

1.6 Given COVID-19 and depending on tenderer responses, the Principal reserves the right to add or amend clauses within the General Conditions of Contract as part of post tender negotiations with the preferred tenderer(s).

1.7 Tender submissions must be received by the TENDER CLOSING TIME or as otherwise changed by addenda.
