Thargomindah in Bulloo Shire, Queensland, obtains its potable town water supply from a local bore that is tapped into the Great Artesian Basin. The bore water requires cooling to provide suitable temperature supply to the community.
The proposed project uses a system of heat exchangers, cooling tower(s), water storage, enhanced solar capacity with battery storage and ancillary equipment to meet the community requirements.
The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to seek Tenders from suitably qualified, experienced and capable contractors to design and construct this system referred to as the Water Cooling Project (the Project) in Thargomindah Queensland.
