Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Services comprise the provision of geotechnical, Geomorphological and Geophysical services, including:
- desktop and field geotechnical, geomorphological and geophysical investigations including test pitting, borehole drilling and sampling;
- mobilisation of all required personnel, equipment, and consumable materials to Site;
- building pioneer tracks where needed;
- geotechnical soil analysis, including Standard Penetrometer (SPT’s), Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), Sieve analysis and Soil classification, Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) survey, Soil Electrical Resistivity Measurement;
- acid sulphate soils (ASS) tests, Soil Plasticity Test and Soil Aggressivity Test using a NATA accredited soil testing laboratory; and
- preparation of written actual and interpretive reports plus providing risk and design recommendations, comments on soil profile, ground water for sulphate, water pH, Water Chloride, dissolved matter.
