Carpentaria Shire Council invites interested parties to submit suitably endorsed tenders for inclusion on Council's register of preferred suppliers for civil construction material.

Pursuant to section 233 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Qld), the Principal intends to appoint a supplier as the Principal’s non-exclusive preferred supplier for each of the nominated in Part 5 – Response Schedules for the term stated in Part 2 - Tender Information.

The Principal invites tenders from suitably qualified parties for appointment as that preferred supplier for the following items:

• Road pavement gravel (TMR Type 2.2, 2.3, 3.2 (ridge gravel)).

• Crusher dust, sand, and garden loam.

• Rock (500mm, 300mm, 200mm, 75 mm minus and trench rock).

• Aggregate 10mm and 20mm.

• Screenings 10mm and 14mm.

• Concrete 40MPa, 32MPa, 25MPa, 20MPa and stabilized sand.

• Bulk cement powder

• Additional material used for civil construction but not specifically nominated.

Options for material transport shall include:

• Principal organised transport from the Suppliers Yard (including loading into the Principal’s supplied trucks).

• Supplier arranged delivery to Normanton Surrounds (5km from Normanton Depot) or Karumba Surrounds (5km from Karumba post office).

• Supplier arranged delivery on bitumen roads and/or gravel roads at a per kilometre rate.

Tenders must be submitted through Vendor Panel in the appropriate format with adequate time for the Tender (including all supporting documentation) to upload to the Tender Box prior to the Tender closing Time.
