Tender Description
Design and construction of the Glenyalla Road Bridge Replacement over Borambil Creek located approximately 1.9 km south of the Willow Tree township in the Liverpool Plains Shire Council.
The general requirements for the new replacement bridges are as follows:
- Nominal dimensions are 28m long and 4.5m wide between the barriers;
- Single lane bridge on the same horizontal alignment as the existing bridge;
- The same deck soffit level as the existing bridge, as a minimum, to ensure the same waterway area is maintained;
- Bridge design shall comply with AS5100, SM1600 loading and will be capable of carrying AB Triple freight efficient vehicles with NSW Higher Mass Limits.
The scope of works includes:
- Demolition and removal from site of the existing timber bridge;
- Design and construction of the new replacement reinforced concrete bridge;
- Construction of the approaches; and
- Provision of all environmental, safety, quality and traffic management as per the requirements of the Contract.
