North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) is seeking to commission a provider to evaluate new services delivering psychological treatment for people living with mental illness in residential aged care facilities.
ABOUT THE TENDERER: NWMPHN is an independent, locally governed and run, not for profit organisation dedicated to improving primary health care in local communities.
ABOUT THE TENDER: A new service is currently being commissioned in both the northern and western regions of the NWMPHN. It will deliver low to medium intensity mental health services in residential aged care facilities, as well as deliver training and capacity building for staff at the facilities. NWMPHN seeks to evaluate the service from the beginning, this will include a rigorous and systematic approach to build evidence of 'what works for whom under which circumstances and why' in the new service model. This tender is to contract a provider to conduct an independent evaluation of the new service.
