Professional Development Content Library

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (Customer) is seeking innovative commercial proposals for the provision of an enterprise cloud-hosted Professional Development Content Library Solution (Solution) for a period of 12 months with 2 x 12 months extensions on offer. The Offerer must be able to provide an extensive library of off-the-shelf, ready to consume professional development content with a minimum of 250 courses in total, across a minimum of 4 out of the following 5 listed Categories :

o Business Skills

o Communication and Interpersonal;

o Management and Leadership;

o Health, Safety and Wellbeing and;

o Technical Skills; and

Note: Suppliers who do not meet the minimum content requirements outlined above may not be shortlisted for assessment.

Key Attributes of the Solution

The Solution is expected to have the following key attributes:

(a) Software as a Service

(b) Commercial Off-the-Shelf Solution (COTS)

(c) Secure Cloud hosted, (Australian hosted)

(d) Optimised for Mobile

(e) Integrated Identity Management compatible with the Customer’s IAM solution, and accessible to selected external user accounts

(f) Provide reports, that at a minimum, monitor usage

Out-of-Scope

The following is out-of-scope for this Contract:

• Extensive vendor redesign or redevelopment of the Solution to meet the Customer’s requirements. As a COTS, the Solution should be fit for purpose with minimal customisation.
• The replacement or integration of existing professional development content;
• Hosting of Customer’s developed training content;
• Decommissioning of any existing IT-related system(s);
• Course creation or development; and
• The implementation of a solution (such as an LMS) to manage any content other than the content/courses in the procured Solution.
