One (1) Business Architect

⁠⁠⁠** NOTE: Seller is required to complete and submit the attached Home Affairs Seller Response Form to address the requirements.

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:

• Working with business areas across the department, and where required, across the Portfolio to undertake business architecture activities as directed;
• Applying structured business architecture principles, approaches and methodologies;
• Developing blueprints, capability models, operating models and business focused investment roadmaps;
• Describing and modelling the primary business functions of various business areas and distinguishing between customer-facing, operational and business management functions;
• Describing and modelling business information sharing across capabilities;
• Supporting the strategic planning and investment process through the development of business cases;
• Working closely with Domain architects in the development of domain roadmaps;
• Working closely with project teams to help guide the development of their business analysis and solution artefacts;
• Liaising with Portfolio agency partners as well as other Commonwealth departments and agencies to ensure there is alignment with Portfolio and whole of government initiatives.

Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department’s recordkeeping policy and practices.

The Specified Personnel will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of the following deliverables, including but not limited to:
• Business blueprints;
• Capability related documentation including but not limited to: Capability Model, Capability Heatmaps, Capability Maturity Assessments, Capability Impact Assessments, Capability Health Assessments and Capability Roadmaps;
• Investment roadmaps;
• Business roadmaps;
• Investment logic map.
