Tender Description
The Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) wish to set up a panel of consulting engineers to provide a range of engineering services to the Department.
The PWS has a small team of internal engineering staff, but the range of engineering tasks required by the extensive and expanding asset portfolio managed by the PWS is well beyond their capacity to manage. The intent is to use external consultants to fill the gaps in the engineering requirements of the PWS.
Given the expanding capital development program currently being undertaken by the PWS along with the vast number of essential safety and maintenance inspections regularly required across the existing asset portfolio, the PWS is seeking request for tenders from suitable engineering businesses to form part of a panel of engineers the PWS can draw on as required.
It is the intention that the panel of consulting engineers may be engaged at short notice to undertake consulting work in one of the four general areas below:
- Inspections, Research and Reporting
- Design, Documentation, Approvals and Certification
- Tender and Construction Contract Administration
- Engagement and Supervision of other Consultants and Contractors
