Ely Street Drainage Renewal

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the renewal of existing stormwater drainage infrastructure, in the area of Ely Street, to remove current flooding issues around laneway and local businesses

The purpose for the Ely St drainage works upgrade is to improve the collection of surface water from the back of the Murphy St shops (No. 32-44) to prevent water residue amounting at the back of their property that was originally reported as a customer request

The Work comprises the construction of larger stormwater pipes and pits through Ely Street laneway. It also includes but is not limited to survey, demolition, excavation, removal, construction and associated works as shown in the specification and design drawings. The proposed pipework will connect into the existing drainage infrastructure on Ely Street.

Contract Term

The Contract term shall be for a period of 4 weeks (6 months defects liability period) and will be a fixed priced/lump sum contract.

Submissions

All responses must be lodged via this online e-Tendering Portal; submissions received via any other means (including hardcopy) will not be accepted, nor considered. Incomplete and late submissions will also not be considered.

Tenderers must allow sufficient time to upload and submit all documentation, as the e-Tendering system will automatically lock at the Closing Date and Time preventing partially submitted responses from being completed.
