This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The department regularly engages external vendors to undertake works on behalf of the department. Where these works include the handling or storage of electronic information on behalf of the department, the department has an obligation to ensure vendors are compliant with ACSC guidelines for Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
To do this, the IT Security team undertake a risk based process of vendor accreditation through certification.
The proposal is for analysis, assessment and recommendation to be undertake resulting in individual vendor reports detailing cyber security alignment with the ISM and PSPF. Assessment will be derived from security based system/environment/operational information provided by vendors in support of their engagement by the department to undertake works involving an IT component.
