Tender Description
The Works comprise (as described in detail within the annotated scoping document):
Separable Portion A
- Remedial treatment, preparation and painting of the bridge arch and hanging triangle
- Replacement of the perforated stainless steel neon light cover/diffuser fixed to the hanging triangle
- Coordination and provision of access to the City of Melbourne nominated electrical contractor to remove bridge lighting to facilitate painting and then upgrade / reinstate lighting upon completion.
Separable Portion B-1
- Remedial treatment, preparation and painting of the remainder of the bridge superstructure and associated steelwork
- Temporary removal and re-installation of service fixtures to facilitate a comprehensive re-coating of the bridge steelwork.
- Removal, preparation and finishing of the timber handrail
Separable Portion B-2 Ponyfish Island
- Steelwork painting following demolition by others of existing bar & cafe
