Escalator 5 and 6 Modernisation at 151 Royal St East Perth

As part of the building’s upgrade plan, escalators 5 & 6 at 151 Royal St East Perth have been identified as beyond useful like and require modernisation.

The intent of these works is to bring the existing escalators up to an acceptable standard in line with the relevant Australian Standards, Building Codes and Industry Standards. JLL, on behalf of our client, Department of Finance - BMW is seeking a highly qualified and experienced vertical transport contractor to undertake this upgrade.

Global Elevator Management (GEM) was commissioned to prepare a technical scope of work and design documentation. GEM will also assist in monitoring works progressively, assisting JLL in reviewing submitted quotes/RFIs and undertake the final “Sign Off” inspection upon achieving Practical Completion (PC).

The scope of work is in accordance with the attached 151 Royal Street Escalator Modernisation Specs 25 February 2020 Version A that is prepared by Global Elevator Management.
