Tender Description
The Training Committee in Sexual Health Medicine seeks expressions of interest for an Advanced Trainee Representative.
The Committee oversees Advanced Training in Sexual Health Medicine and is responsible for:
- monitoring individual trainee progress in Sexual Health Medicine
- confirming completion of training requirements for progression to Fellowship
- providing training and support to supervisors
- accreditation of Advanced Training sites and programs in Sexual Health Medicine
- advising on assessment and resource content
- modifying training requirements for individual trainees, as appropriate, in accordance with College policies and procedures
The Committee holds 2 face-to-face meetings in Sydney (March and November) and holds 2 teleconference per year.
Members are appointed to the Committee for a term of 2 years, which can be renewed for a further 2 terms or until the Advanced Trainee becomes eligible for Fellowship.
