Tender Description
Scope of Work:
Mechanical and structural repairs to the two existing Town Potable Water Tanks.
Including but not limited to the following:
- Thickness testing of the tank floor and walls
- Replacement of 40m² floor plate
- Add new access way to the bottom of the tank
- Blast and paint all external metal surfaces
- Blast and coat all internal structure
- Roof support columns to be replaced
- Roof trusses to be replaced
- Tank roof to be replaced with new corrugated sheeting
- All valves to be replaced
- Any cracked concrete around the ring beam to be repaired/replaced
- Ladders external and internal to be removed and replaced
- Walkway handrail to be installed around the tank to access the roof
- Add new over the top tank feed to be made of stainless steel ø500mm diam
- Modify outlet pipe work to allow double block and bleed
- Refurbish cathodic protection system
- Relocate instruments to ground level
- Modification of tank complex intake manifold and equalisation Pipework
