The Shire of Brookton is seeking expressions of interest from the Community for 2 new external independent members for it's Audit & Risk Committee.

The Audit & Risk Committee is an advisory committee of Council with 5 members. 2 members must be external and independent of Council. The Shire President and 2 other Councillor's make up the balance.

The new members must satisfy the criteria as laid out in the Terms of Reference for the Audit & Risk Committee.

Council is looking for 2 new independent members to join the committee for a 2 year term, commencing as soon as practicable.
