Supply, Maintenance and Support for Signalling Uninterruptible Power Supply

⁠⁠⁠The Sydney Trains electrical network has approximately 40 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, a mix of new and aged units, which provide backup supply in case of utility power failure.

UPS Systems are used to supply power to signalling locations that require a constant supply, noting that the loss of this supply can severely impact the operations of these signalling systems.

Sydney Trains is seeking responses from experienced, suitably qualified suppliers who have a demonstrative ability to meet its requirements for the supply of UPS systems and associated installation, testing, maintenance and training as detailed in this tender.

Tenderers must ensure that the Goods tendered are fully compliant with the requirements of EP 23 60 00 01 SP. 

Tenderers must be able to provide installation, commissioning and maintenance Services at the Principal’s Direction. Tenders that do not comply with these mandatory requirements, will not be considered.

• 10 kVA 1 phase 240V Input and Output with 110VDC Bus
• 15 kVA 1 phase 240V Input and Output with 110VDC Bus
• 20 kVA 1 phase 240V Input and Output with 110VDC Bus
• 25 kVA 1 phase 240V Input and Output with 110VDC Bus
• 25 kVA 3 phase 415V Input and Output with 110VDC Bus
• 30 kVA 3 phase 415V Input and Output with 110VDC Bus
• 40 kVA 3 phase 415V Input and Output with either 110VDC or 400VDC Bus
