Western Region - Psychological services for mental illness in residential aged care facilities

⁠⁠⁠North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) is seeking to commission a provider to deliver mental health services to residents of residential aged care facilities in the Northern Melbourne Region (Darebin, Hume, Moreland, Yarra, Moonee Ponds, Macedon Ranges).

ABOUT THE TENDERER: NWMPHN is an independent, locally governed and run, not for profit organisation dedicated to improving primary health care in local communities.

ABOUT THE TENDER: NWMPHN is seeking to commission mental health services to be delivered to residents of residential aged care facilities who are experiencing mild to moderate mental illness, and to also deliver training and capacity building activities for residential care facility staff to increase their understanding of mental illness in older people and to enable them to deliver effective supports to residents who are experiencing mental illness.
