Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of Babinda Mausoleum and upgrade of the existing mausoleum.

The Queensland Government's Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry applies to the building work associated with this project. It is a requirement of this project that any person who undertakes the work be compliant with the Code.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Sunday 1 March 2020. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders will not be accepted.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Tenderers to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 90 days from the Closing Time
