Construction of William's Bridge - Martindale

⁠⁠⁠Muswellbrook Shire Council invites experienced Contractors to tender for the Construction of Williams Bridge, Martindale (Approximately 21km from Denman).
This tender is for Contract number 2019-2020-0411

Work under this Contract comprises the supply of labour, plant and material to undertake replacing timber bridge to concrete bridge.

It includes but not limited to the following items of construction which shall be carried out in their entirety in strict accordance with and to the true intent and purpose of Conditions of Contract, the Technical Specification and the Construction drawings all under the supervision of the superintendent:

1. Provision for control, protection and safety of traffic including pedestrians during project period.
2. Notify affected residents and business.
3. Protect environment from erosion and sediment, water pollution, air pollution, noise and ground vibration. (Fisheries Permit will be Obtained by Council).
4. Maintain the existing side track to divert the traffic during the construction. This side track shall be able to cater for all general access vehicles including articulated vehicles.
5. Demolition, removal and disposal of existing timber bridge.
6. Construction of new concrete bridge as per the drawings and specifications.
7. Supply and installation of traffic barrier railing systems.
8. Road works included as provisional items.
This is a Lump Sum contract.

The Tenderer MUST, familiarise itself with the Works and the site prior to submission of the tender. A Mandatory Tender Briefing / Site inspection will be held on;
