The Contractor shall provide a security service to Council, which shall include mobile patrols, banking service, after-hours answering service and static guards.
The Contractor shall maintain a twenty four hour call centre at a central station for all enquiries; the Contractor will answer calls "City of Darwin After Hours."

Attention is drawn to the fact that the specific number and randomly staggered timing of services supplied is of utmost importance. It shall be deemed a fundamental condition of this Contract that in the event of the Contractor not keeping to the specified service level, the Superintendent shall have the power to terminate the Contract at no cost to Council, or to recover costs from securities held.

Security Officers shall neither consume nor work under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs whilst carrying out the works specified in this contract.
The Contractor shall hold a Security Firm Licence in accordance with the Northern Territory Private Security Act. Depending on the work being undertaken on behalf of the Principal all security officers shall hold a Security Officers Licence or a Crowd Controllers Licence or both.

The Contractor shall provide the following security services:

• Security Patrols, programmed and random, throughout the municipality
• Patrol / Lock / Unlock various sites
• Report incidents to after hours call centre for reporting to City of Darwin the next working day
• Cash carry, change service and banking service
• Static Guard
• After Hours Emergency Callout
• After Hours Release of Vehicles from public carparks
• After Hours Call Centre.

Range Of Hours:
The range of hours for Night Patrol for all services will be staggered on a random basis from Dusk till Dawn, or as specified.
Daylight patrols during after hours and public holidays will be staggered on a random basis, or as specified.
