CEQ is a Queensland government statutory body with a not-for-profit status. CEQ at heart is a ‘Retailer’ that operates in various retail channels including grocery, hardware, fuel and variety. Its variety channel includes clothing, homewares, electrical and furniture.

CEQ operate 27 stores in remote regions of Queensland with the business being managed centrally from head office in Cairns.

CEQ are looking to move from a decentralised and disparate systems model to a single, fully integrated, end-to-end ERP solution that extends from POS to GL.

High-level system requirements include (but not limited to):

• Retail\Inventory system suitable for various channels including grocery, hardware, fuel and variety (the variety channel includes clothing, homewares, electrical and furniture).
• Robust POS system that supports the following:

1. Laybys
2. Quoting
3. Debtor\trade customer module
4. Gift card support
5. Touch Networks or EPAY support\integration (Telstra Pre-Paid purchases)
6. Other payment method integrations (Apple Pay, AfterPay, Zip Pay etc.)
7. The ability to continue to trade in ‘offline’ mode if/when comms go down
8. Stock warehousing and distribution centre functionality

• Core financials including HR, Payroll, GL, Fixed Assets, Job Costing, Project Maintenance, Expense Management, Bank Reconciliation and Time in Attendance
