Tender Description
Growth in northern areas of Taupo continues to increase with the control gates bridge being the main connection point into Taupo CBD. Traffic volumes near the control gates bridge continue to increase which is causing pressure on existing infrastructure.
The increasing traffic volumes are also making it difficult for pedestrians and cyclists to safely access the Taupo CBD from northern suburbs. Network resilience has been highlighted as a risk due to the importance of the connection of the northern areas communities to Taupo CBD.
