Tender Description
The Scope of this contract is "Replacement of the superstructure of Forest Road Bridges 26 and 27". The bridges are located northeast of Reporoa in the Rotorua District.
The Contract Works shall comprise the works described within the various Contract Documents including without limitation:
- Demolition and removal of the existing superstructure.
- Installation of new precast prestressed concrete double tee beams.
- Temporary removal and reinstatement of the existing guardrail.
The above list summarises works that are included in the contract. It is provided for general information only and is not necessarily a complete list of all the requirements.
The Contractor should note that descriptions of general and technical requirements above do not include numerous items of work, particularly minor items.
The installation of both bridges cannot occur at the same time so that access is maintained for the property owners.
