RFQ for Procurement of MFDs and Follow Me Printing Solution

Burwood Council is seeking quotations on purchase and implementation of Multifunction Devices and Follow me printing solution, preferably Papercut, to work with its existing security keys.

Following are the requirements for the Multifunction Devices.
1. Machine type: Modular colour laser multifunction device
2. Core functions: Print, Copy, Scan and Send, Fax is optional
3. Minimum print speed(BW/CL): 45/40 ppm (A4), 25/20 ppm (A3)
4. Minimum print resolution: 600 dpi
5. Automatic double sided printing and copying
6. Automated single pass double sided scanning, preferably with OCR
7. Minimum scan resolution: 200 dpi
8. Universal Print Driver, if possible
9. Preferably have same set of toners for all MFDs
10. Centralised management of the device with alert notifications
11. Compatible with Follow-me printing solution and card reader hardware, if required

Finisher (Option 1)
1. Finishing Capabilities: Collate, Group, Staple, Hole Punch

Finisher (Option 2)
1. Finishing Capabilities: Collate, Group, Offset, Staple, Saddle Stitch, Hole Punch
2. Paper input: Large paper deck (minimum 2000 sheets)

Following are the requirements for Follow-me Printing solution.
1. Central management of printing, copying and scanning on MFDs
2. Authenticate with Council/s existing security keys
3. Follow-me printing with secure print release
4. Ability to integrate with Windows Active Directory

Council has following requirements of devices per site as mentioned below.

Please submit quotes separately adhering to NSW Government Contract #2390 for each type of MFDs with different finisher options, follow-me printing solution and their implementation costs.
