Tender Description
The department’s intranet is the repository of information about the policies, processes and news of the department. The intranet plays an essential role in the work of an employee, acting as a connective tissue which enables staff to find services, information and people within the department.
The department is undertaking an iterative redevelopment of the current destination-style intranet, moving from a proprietary CMS to the O365 SharePoint Online environment.
To speed up delivery of a modern, mature digital-workplace angled intranet, the department is seeking responses that deliver upon one or both of the desired work streams to support the delivery:
- SharePoint Online based intranet accelerator-style product to enable delivery of a high quality Minimum Viable Product (MVP) intranet release. This product should provide future growth potential as the department’s intranet and digital workplace requirements evolve over the next 5 years.
- Implementation support for the product to install the base application and co-develop/customise the product with an internal team of Web developers to deliver the MVP release.
