Planning & Development Consultant for the Wyangala Dam Raising Project
OVERVIEW OF SERVICES REQUIRED FROM THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
This engagement is for project investigation, design, planning and development consultancy services. The initial engagement will be for the Business Case development phase for each Project. The engagement will enable extension of the services (aligned with forward project approvals and delivery approach) to cover the project development and delivery phases of the project, if and when the projects progress to development and delivery.
It is mandatory that the successful Planning & Development Consultant for each project will be required to provide the full suite of services required to support and inform the development of the final Business Case including (but not limited to) the following services:
- Design services, including Concept Design and further design development;
- Cost estimation and contingency forecasting;
- Environmental Impact Statements, including supporting studies;
- Flooding and hydrological investigations, modelling and impact assessments;
- Geotechnical investigations;
- Project specific inputs to WaterNSW for community and stakeholder engagement;
- Land and utility impact investigations, including land management optioneering;
The services required from the Planning and Development Consultants will be detailed further during the EOI and RFP stages.
