Federation University Australia is seeking lo engage up to 3 reputable, capable and experienced suppliers for the provision of Investment Management Advice and Investment Management Activities in line with long term cash investment strategies (3 Years with the opportunity of two 1 year extensions).
The successful tenderer(s) would be required to work closely with the nominated Federation University representative to achieve the desired outcomes in the negotiated timeframe and with value for money. investment amounts allocated to each successful tenderer will be at the discretion of the University.
Specialist knowledge and experience in investment and the not-for profit sector is sort for this tender.
As part of the investment strategy the University would be looking to have a percentage of investments structured around an Ethical Investment plan that would allow the university to contribute back to the community by investing in companies and organisations that benefit the community on a day to day basis.
All investment decisions will be required to be made with reference to the current Federation University Investment policy, with reference to minimising risk but maximising investment return.
The university operates a financial year ending 31 December, all financial and investment reporting must be aligned to this period.
All investments made by the Investment Manager on behalf of the university shall be AUD currency based products in order to remove any Foreign Exchange risk from the University's investment portfolio.
Currently the University's Investment Policy provides the scope for the University to invest Tactical Capital investable assets in Cash, Fixed Interest, Australian Equities, International Equities and Alternate Investments .
