Murray PHN is commissioning a Way Back Support Service for Sunraysia.
The Way Back Support Service is a non-clinical support service focused on providing practical psychosocial support to people experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide. Support is provided for up to three months and targets those at the highest risk through referrals following hospital presentations. The support is timely, meets individual needs, promotes resilience
and strengths, and is complementary to clinical needs.
Murray PHN has engaged Mildura Base Hospital to deliver a clinical coordination role for The Way Back, identifying and referring clients for support and providing overarching clinical governance for the service.
We are seeking a psychosocial provider to work in partnership with Mildura Base Hospital, people who have a lived experience of suicidality, Murray PHN, and Beyond Blue to deliver The Way Back.
