Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Department seeks to engage a suitably qualified Service Provider(s) to provide a Mobile X-Ray Unit capability. The capability is generally defined as providing non-intrusive screening capability in Australian locations without fixed installations, and as such is outcome driven, thereby seeking innovative solutions.

A Service Provider should be able to provide the mobility component of the Requirement, as well as the x-ray component. The form of mobility solution will be efficient and effective and provide the capability at any one of the required Australian locations. The x-ray component of the capability may be met through a combination of solutions, however there is a preference that the Service Provider offers a whole-of-capability solution. A provider offering only an x-ray machine alone will not be considered a valid solution (see Conditions for Participation at RFT-Terms and Conditions).

To determine the suitability of proposed capability solutions, the Commonwealth reserves the right to conduct testing and trials, preferably as part of the tender evaluation.
