Barwon Water is advising suitably experienced Principal Contractors of an upcoming Expression of Interest (EOI) which will result in a selective Request For Tender (RFT) for a Design & Construct Contract involving brownfield works for a significant and innovative upgrade to the existing Water Reclamation Plant in Colac. This upgrade will involve complex process detailed design resulting in significant civil, mechanical, electrical and structural infrastructure for the treatment plant to cater for projected growth and generate renewable energy. The EOI will be released in early 2020 and an anticipated construction completion is around mid-2022. Note, social procurement and local jobs first requirements will apply.
