This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
As part of the Government Shared Services Program that began on 1 July 2016 to standardise business systems and processes across the APS, the AEC is currently in the process of transitioning to a new Financial Management Information System (FMIS), solution. The new FMIS will modernise AEC’s corporate systems into an integrated, modular, web based SaaS platform that will include financial management, budgeting, strategic planning and procure-to-pay functionality.
To successfully transition the AEC to new FMIS solution, a suitably qualified and experienced person is required to plan and undertake data migration activities from legacy systems and other information sources to the new FMIS solution. Due to ‘go live’ on 1 April 2020.
Duties may include, but is not limited to:
(a) scope and map the data to be migrated to assess the viability of the migration;
(b) identify documents and validate data migration scope, security measures, risks, constraints, dependencies and assumptions;
(c) perform data cleansing processes;
(d) engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as managing their expectations through the migration process.
(e) develop a detailed Data Migration Plan that defines the migration process including timelines;
(f) backup data prior to migration;
(g) conduct live testing to ensure successful implementation;
(h) execute the Data Migration Plan;
(i) conduct audits and tests to ensure all data has migrated successfully;
(j) develop data migration templates, project and policy documentation throughout the migration process;
(k) conduct handover of the data quality management environment.
