Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The department has established a Business Analysis Centre to improve the quality and timeliness of business analysis related services and products. The position is required to report to the Director of the BA Centre and project managers as appropriate.
The lead BA will be responsible for the BA components of a large project or a program of work. Tasks may include:
- Planning BA effort across multiple projects;
- Coordinating and leading a small team of BA’s;
- Managing complexity and uncertainty to maintain progress;
- Maintaining focus on business value;
- Identifying and mitigating risk; and
- Working effectively in a fluid environment.
The lead BA should be highly proficient in foundational BA skills such as:
- Requirement elicitation;
- Collaboration;
- Requirement analysis and design;
- Strategic analysis and design;
- Requirement lifecycle management (particularly change); and
- Communication (both verbal and written).
The Lead BA is also required to contribute to other BA Centre, operations including
- Supporting strategic business engagement and project initiation;
- Pre-project analysis;
- Project change management;
- Contributing to BA capability uplift; and
- Progress the department’s ICT strategy and Enterprise Architecture.
