Tender Description
The Department seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced organisation/s to deliver a training program for the Victorian MCH workforce to plan and facilitate the delivery of sleep and settling training to MCH service providers.
This is a key initiative in the More help for new Victorian mums and dads election commitment, aimed at providing support for Victorian parents which comprises:
- delivery of baby bundles to first time parents
- construction of 7 new early parenting centres and refurbishment of two existing centres
- provision of additional sessions for first-time parent groups
- home-based Maternal and Child Health (MCH) sleep support packages for vulnerable families
- specialist telephone MCH sleep and settling support
- free fitting of child car restraints and safety checks
- basic newborn first aid training
- paternity leave tax exemptions
