Tender Description
Design, procurement, manufacture, fabrication, assembly, supply,testing, preparation of associated documentation, packaging, delivery
to Site, supervision of installation and commissioning support of Transformers.
Specific Scope Specific Scope Requirements:
Suppliers wishing to be considered must be able to demonstrate their ability to complete the following tasks:
- Design, manufacture and supply high quality 33/0.433kV and 33kV/6.9kV ground and pole mount transformers suitable for operation in iron ore processing plants in the Western Australian Pilbara region.
- Accommodate regular Company inspections of the equipment assembly and testing.
- Make all necessary arrangements for the delivery of all items from the fabrication plant to Site.
- Complete all necessary Pre-commissioning activities at the manufacturing premises.
- Have successfully delivered transformers for projects in the Western Australian Pilbara region. Previous experience with major project delivery for Rio Tinto is highly desirable.
- Provide a high level of client service for operational and maintenance support, including mobilization of support resources to remote site locations where required.
- Compliance with, or demonstrate capability to comply with, Rio Tinto documentation requirements, technical and standard specifications.
- supply scope is inclusive of all items within the following general battery limits:
- the underside of the transformer base frame or the transformer pole bracket;
- HV and LV termination bushings;
- Instrument junction box terminals; and
- Earth bar/earth stud.
