Expression of Interest - Legal Needs Mapping and Analysis

⁠⁠⁠The Tasmanian Department of Justice is seeking to engage qualified ad experienced persons/organizations interested in undertaking a state-wide review and analysis of legal need in Tasmania. This analysis will map legal services currently provided by government-funded legal assistance services for the purposes of identifying where legal needs is, where current services are being delivered, and where service gaps may be arising or currently exist within the legal assistance sector.

The Department of Justice administers Commonwealth and State funding to the legal assistance sector for the delivery of legal services in Tasmania. In accordance with the Tasmanian Government policy and the national Partnership on Legal Assistance Services 2015-2, planning for the delivery of legal services requires evidence of legal need in order to inform the deliver of future legal services in Tasmania.

Responses must contain a brief statement indicating an interest in and capability to undertake review and analysis and curriculum vitae(s) demonstrating experience in this field of work.
