The Thames Coromandel District Council (TCDC) is seeking to appoint a lead contractor to be responsible for the maintenance of the District's parks, reserves and open spaces over the next five to seven years. The Council is looking for a Contractor with both the experience, skills, capability and capacity to provide maintenance services over the entire District to a high standard while introducing invocation and providing cost effective services to the local communities of the District.
This Registration of Interest will be used to shortlist two to three companies who may be invited to submit a tender for the proposed work.
This is a unique opportunity to be lead provider of open space maintenance services to the entire Thames Coromandel District from 2020 until 2025, with potential for f two further one year contract extensions (i.e. a total of 5+1+1 years) subject to performance and at the sole discretion of Council.

- Vegetation and Edge Control
- Road and Road Reserve Vegetation Control
- Litter Control
- Graffiti Control
- Furniture, Fixtures and Structures maintenance
- Arboriculture
- Horticultural Maintenance
- Wharves and Boat Ramps
- Beach Works and Beach Cleaning
- Grave Digging and Associated Cemetery Operations
- Public Toilet Maintenance and Servicing
- Sports Field Maintenance
- Site Security
- Special Events
- Pest Plant Programme
- Airfield Maintenance.
