Scope of work
Dampier Salt, Lake MacLeod operations requires a supplier to provide road maintenance services for a wet gypsum mining campaign
The scope includes the supply a grader and water cart suitable to maintain the roads on the wet gypsum mining route. The scope also requires one operator to be available to operate either piece of equipment as required to maintain all haul roads.
Mining block roads
The supplier will be responsible for grading a new access road for the haul trucks as each strip mining face is hauled to the stockpile area.
Haul Roads
The supplier will be responsible for the upkeep of all haul roads between mining block 22 and stockpile 1 and 8 at all times. This will be achieved by grading and watering as required, to maintain safe operating conditions.
Variation work
The supplier may be requested to perform other grader work such as installing drains around gypsum stockpiles.
Note
Dry hire of water-cart may be requested to allow a Dampier Salt operator to operate the water-cart to support grader operations as required.
Suppliers that are successful in this EOI will be required to provide the following as part of the tender process:
- pricing for 1 x grader, 1 x water-cart and 1 x operator;
- additional rate of water-cart for dry hire rate (per/hr)
