Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Mid-Coast Council is situated on the Lower North Coast of NSW, sharing boundaries with Port Stephens Council (in the south), Dungog Shire Council (south west), Upper Hunter Council (west), Walcha Shire Council (north west), and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council (in the north).

Mid-Coast Council covers an area of more than 10,000 square kilometres, comprising both coastal and forested rural hinterland. It has 3,590 kilometres of road, and has a total coastline of 190 kilometres. Taree is the largest town in the Council area and is 312 kilometres north of Sydney and 173 kilometres north of Newcastle. Other towns in the council area are Forster, Gloucester, Wingham, Tuncurry, Hawks Nest, Tea Gardens, Bulahdelah, Stroud, and Nabiac. Council has works depots at Taree, Gloucester, Tuncurry, Bulahdelah, Stroud, and Tea Gardens.

ABOUT THE TENDER: This tender is for the reconstruction of Old Bar Road at two locations, the Saltwater Road and Red Gum Road Intersection and Sheppard Street to David Street in the town centre.

COMPULSORY PRE-TENDER MEETING to be held on 5th December at 10:00am, meeting location at the intersection of Red Gum Road and Old Bar Road.
